Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, lead a team, and integrate educational strategies across the centre. You will inspire staff to achieve high standards of care and learning, while ensuring strong focus on child development and family engagement.

The role requires a Level 3 EYFS qualification and supervisory experience in an early years setting. You will drive the Busy Bees Bee Curious curriculum and contribute to a supportive, wellbeing-focused working

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Supervisory experience in nursery settings is desirable.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is tracked and shared with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person to support holistic development and personal care of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
