Job summary

Busy Bees Winchester Sutton Scotney is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, delivering the Bee Curious curriculum and ensuring the highest standards of care and learning across the centre.

You will lead a supportive team, build strong relationships with families, maintain health and safety, and nurture each child’s holistic development in a warm, welcoming Busy Bees environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and building relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care for a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Role Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Ideal Candidate: Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
