LEYF is committed to ensuring children are safe, healthy, and well-nourished. The nursery chef plays a vital role in providing delicious, nutritious food and fostering healthy eating habits. We heavily invest in our nursery chefs, who are essential to our nursery teams.

The Early Years Relief Chef will serve as a roving chef, providing support and cover for LEYF’s nurseries across London as needed when permanent chefs are absent or vacancies arise. You will be assigned a "home nursery," which could be at Deanery Road (E15), Stockwell (SW9), New Cross (SE14), or Mickey Star (W2). Travel expenses beyond the home nursery will be reimbursed.

You will need:

• The right to work in the UK
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm to work with children
• Food Hygiene Level 2 or equivalent, or willingness to complete the course in your first week (paid for by LEYF)
