Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for a newly established nursery in Market Bosworth. You will support young children’s early development, provide high-quality care, and help create a nurturing learning environment.

The role emphasizes safeguarding and collaboration with a dedicated Early Years team. Ideal candidates hold Level 2/3 in Early Years, understand the EYFS, and can work 40 hours weekly across 51 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Years or nursery settings.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 6 months+.
• Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment.
• Build strong and positive relationships with children and their families.
• Plan and support engaging activities and learning opportunities.
• Observe and contribute to children's developmental progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a dedicated Early Years team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures.
• Contribute to maintaining the high standards expected within the setting.
