Job summary

Simply Education is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for a brand-new nursery in Market Bosworth, Leicestershire. You will support children from 6 months upwards, helping to deliver high-quality care and early education in a warm, home-from-home setting.

The role requires empathy, a good understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to work well as part of a team. 40 hours per week all year round, with a salary of £27,040–£28,080 and benefits including 28 days leave and complimentary lunches.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Years or nursery setting.
• Level 2/3 Early Years qualification desirable.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a nurturing approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and children's welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 6 months+.
• Support development in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Plan and support engaging activities and learning opportunities.
• Observe and contribute to children's developmental progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a dedicated Early Years team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards within the setting.
