Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a welcoming nursery in the NG2 area to recruit a dedicated Nursery Practitioner for either full-time or part-time hours with an immediate start. The role focuses on supporting children through play-based learning in a stimulating and nurturing environment.

Shifts run from 8:00am to 6:00pm. A Level 2/3 childcare qualification or at least 6 months of relevant experience, plus solid EYFS knowledge and strong communication and teamwork skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Level2 or Level3 Childcare qualification (or at least 6months of relevant childcare experience).
• Good understanding of the EYFS Framework and Early Learning Goals.
• Experience supporting children through play‑based learning and continuous provision.

Responsibilities

• Support children through small group activities.
• Encourage learning through play.
• Assist with personal care when required.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
