Job summary

Busy Bees in Stowmarket is seeking an Early Years Educator to support children's development within our Ofsted‑rated Good nursery. Join a team that values high‑quality education, growth opportunities and our Bee Curious curriculum that fosters curiosity and confidence.

You will lead engaging activities, establish strong links with families as the key person, and help create a safe, stimulating learning space aligned with the EYFS framework, ensuring every child thrives.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience with children under 5.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with EYFS.

About our Nursery

Join our dedicated team at Busy Bees in Stowmarket, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 112 children. Our purpose-built facility features a large outdoor space for children to explore, with rooms specifically designed for different age groups. What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
