Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in Gillingham, England, is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the development of children aged under five, delivering engaging activities and personalised care.

  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the EYFS.
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

About Our Nursery

Gillingham, rated Good by Ofsted, is a purpose-built, single-level center with a capacity of 112 children, featuring 10 base rooms and separate garden areas tailored for each age group. We provide essential items such as nappies and wipes, ensuring convenience for families. Our nursery has strong ties with the local community and local authorities to support children’s development. Conveniently located within walking distance to bus stops and close to the motorway, we offer free onsite parking for staff. What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

What We’re Looking For
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
  • Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
