Busy Bees is seeking an Early Years Educator to foster the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children within a leading UK nursery group. You will contribute to a high-quality education environment and be part of a team that values growth opportunities.

The role emphasizes EYFS-aligned activities, strong communication with families, and a key person approach to support each child’s development in a caring setting.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
  • Skills: good communication, strong organisational abilities, and applying knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.

Responsabilités

  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment by preparing materials and arranging rooms for growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities aligned with the EYFS to support physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
  • Serve as Key Person to oversee development and build strong family connections.

About our Nursery

Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" nursery with a capacity of 56, offering exceptional childcare across two floors in three age-appropriate base rooms. Each room provides a stimulating and comfortable environment where children learn through play. The nursery also boasts a spacious, secure garden designed to encourage exploration, helping children build their self-esteem, confidence, balance, and coordination in a truly magnificent outdoor space. Ideally located near a Country Park and Forest, the nursery frequently explores the local community through nature walks. Role Responsibilities
What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:
  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
Required Qualifications
What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
  • Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
