Job summary

Banana Moon Moseley is seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a caring family‑friendly team. You will support children’s development through fun, engaging play in a welcoming setting.

This role emphasises safeguarding, EYFS knowledge, high standards of care, and ongoing professional development with brand training and quality support from head office.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Ability to provide high-quality care and support children's learning and development
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents, carers and colleagues
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, responsible and committed to maintaining high professional standards

Responsibilities

• Act as a named co-ordinator relevant to their skills or training as designated by the Nursery Manager
• Deliver high-quality care and support children's learning and development
• Engage with the local community and market the nursery while providing excellent customer care
• Promote a safe, caring and welcoming setting in which children flourish

Job description

Banana Moon Moseley is a thriving nursery looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Nursery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a happy nursery where we focus on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. Nursery Practitoner's ensure a high quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered; creating a safe, caring and welcoming setting in which parents are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.

To adhere to Banana Moon policies and procedures and meet legislative requirements and following education curriculum, delivering standards which ensure highest possible inspection grading.

To promote a successful business with a first-class reputation, engaging with the local community and marketing the nursery whilst providing excellent customer care.
