Banana Moon Sheffield nursery is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Professional to join our Baby Moons team. You will work with a dedicated staff in a caring, family-friendly setting focused on playful learning and forming strong relationships with children and families.

In this full-time role (40 hours per week), you will support high-quality education and care, follow policies and safeguarding procedures, and contribute to an inviting, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 childcare qualification required.
• DBS enhanced disclosure.
• Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate.
• Experience as a key person in a nursery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality early years education and care.

Banana Moon Sheffield is a thriving nursery looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated Early Years Professional to join our Baby Moons team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a happy nursery where we focus on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. You will be working with a dedicated team in a caring, family friendly, characterful, and stimulating environment which is inviting to children, families, and staff.

Job Purpose

Early Years Professionals ensure a high quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered; creating a safe, caring, and welcoming setting in which families are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.

To adhere to Banana Moon policies and procedures and meet legislative requirements and following education curriculum, delivering standards which ensure highest possible inspection grading.

To promote a successful business with a first-class reputation, engaging with the local community and marketing the nursery whilst providing excellent customer care.

Acting as a named co-ordinator relevant to their skills or training as designated by the Nursery Manager.

We have full and part time positions availble-

Full time- 40 hours per week

Requirements

• A full and relevant level 2 or 3.
• DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector.
• Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate.
• Previous responsibility as a key person.
