Job summary

Busy Bees Coventry Allesley is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the intellectual, social and emotional development of children. You will contribute to our Bee Curious curriculum and partner with families to foster curiosity and confidence in young learners.

About our Nursery

Join our dedicated team at Busy Bees in Coventry Allesley Green, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding facility with a capacity of 46 children. Our longstanding staff includes Centre Director Becky Curran, with 32 years of experience, alongside Chris Lewis and Patricia Ward, each with 20 and 10 years, respectively. We pride ourselves on strong community ties, collaborating with our local Onestop, which judges our internal competitions, and participating in community service activities like litter picking. Role Responsibilities:

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

Required Qualifications:

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
