Job summary

Willingcare is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) in a woodland, nature-filled Good Ofsted-rated setting near Eastleigh. The role is full-time (40 hours) with a competitive salary of £27,000-£33,000 per year.

You will deliver high-quality care and education aligned with EYFS, plan engaging activities, and support children's development in a bright, supportive environment. Experience in early years, strong safeguarding knowledge, and excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in an early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan engaging, play-based activities that support children's learning and development.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence and curiosity through indoor and outdoor experiences.
• Make full use of woodland surroundings, garden, and outdoor resources to create learning opportunities.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress, supporting individual learning journeys.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels happy and secure.
