Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited seeks a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner for a Good Ofsted-rated nursery in the area. You will support children’s care, learning and development following the EYFS framework, and participate in play-based activities.

Join a friendly, experienced team with ongoing training, regular events, and long service awards. Salary starts at £28,500 per year for a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications

• EYFS knowledge and safeguarding principles.
• Previous nursery/early years experience.
• Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Child-centred approach with play-based learning.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, enthusiastic and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s care, learning and development in line with EYFS.
• Follow children’s interests to plan engaging activities.
• Encourage confidence, independence and curiosity through play.
• Utilise indoor and outdoor spaces for varied learning experiences.
• Support daily routines and individual care needs.
• Observe development and contribute to learning records.
• Build warm relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with nursery colleagues and wider team.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards.
