Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners with Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare to support early years across Torquay and surrounding areas. An immediate start is available, with flexible day-to-day and long-term placements.

You will need to travel between nurseries, deliver play-based learning, and follow EYFS safeguarding guidelines while building strong relationships with children and parents.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/EY required.
• Experience in nursery/early years settings preferred.
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable but not essential.
• Reliable commute to nurseries across Torquay and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning through play-based activities.
• Create a safe, stimulating environment for children.
• Assist with daily nursery routines including mealtimes and outdoor play.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Encourage independence, communication and social development.
• Follow safeguarding EYFS policies.
