Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) to join a Good Ofsted-rated nursery in Redditch. The role offers up to £27,500 per year, full-time, all year round, in a warm and nurturing environment.

You will take responsibility for key children, contribute ideas, and engage in all aspects of nursery life, with ample outdoor space to extend learning beyond the indoors.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Confident and proactive approach to working with young children.
• Understanding of EYFS framework and child development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
• Caring, enthusiastic, and dependable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Take responsibility for a group of key children and support their learning journeys.
• Plan engaging experiences reflecting children's interests and development stages.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, and curiosity through everyday play; utilise indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Observe and assess children's progress and use this to inform appropriate next steps.
• Support children's individual routines, emotional wellbeing, and personal care needs.
• Develop warm and trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
