About Our Nursery

At Busy Bees nursery in Warton, rated "Good" by Ofsted, we create a 'home-from-home' atmosphere where children can truly thrive. Each age group has dedicated space equipped with toys and resources to inspire curiosity. Our large outdoor area encourages children to enjoy fresh air and activities, keeping them engaged and active. Located in Warton, North Lancashire, on Rake Lane, our nursery is accessible via public transport and offers free parking. We also have pets, including chickens and giant African land snails, providing unique learning opportunities about nature, responsibility, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and delivering educational activities promoting children's development.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster strong partnerships with children and families as a Key Person.
  • Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.

Required Qualifications

  • Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
  • Experience working with children under 5.
  • Empathy and understanding of each child's uniqueness.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
