Bright Horizons Family Solutions is hiring a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner for the Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and Preschool, near the Town Centre. You will plan, create and reflect on engaging activities to support each child’s development.

The role offers a starting salary of £27,010 per year, dependent on qualifications and experience, plus a generous benefits package and flexible shifts typical for nursery roles.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3+ Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Experience safeguarding children and building partnerships with parents/carers.

We’re looking for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and Preschool, situated within a walking distance to the Town Centre, with a super easy bus route.

The nursery has stunning expansive gardens, dedicated children’s kitchen, 7 base rooms, large onsite parking, staff children attend and flexible shifts. In addition, there’s a large staff room to relax in, training opportunities, wellbeing is at the heart of the Nursery, and a robust and supportive induction programme.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
