Job summary

Stepping Stones Nurseries Ltd in Warrington is looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our caring team and support young learners daily.

You will observe, assess and plan activities to deliver outstanding early years care, while maintaining high-quality environments and safeguarding procedures. DBS checked and Level 2+ childcare qualification are required; energy, creativity and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant DfE recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above such as NNEB, NVQ or Early Years Educator as a minimum requirement.
• Successful applicants must complete a DBS Enhanced Application or present a current DBS Certificate registered to the DBS Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and plan effectively to deliver outstanding learning opportunities and care for children.
• Maintain high standards of quality in the nursery environment, resources, and experiences.
• Safeguard and promote health, safety and welfare of children.
• Be aware of signs of abuse and neglect and how to report them.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage safeguarding requirements.
• Liaise with external agencies and parents to provide the best care.
• Work as part of a team, communicating effectively for smooth nursery operations.
