Job summary

Kindred Nursery Nottingham is seeking an Early Years Practitioner (Nursery Nurse) to deliver outstanding care and education in a warm, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and inspired to learn.

You will work with a supportive team to plan engaging activities, observe learning progress and communicate with parents via the Satchel app, while upholding safeguarding and EYFS standards. The role emphasises professional development and a caring, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Essential level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and development focus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Desirable: Previous experience in Early Years setting.
• Desirable: Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Desirable: Safeguarding and Child Protection training (full training will be provided).
• Desirable: Current Food Hygiene Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding care and education for every child in a warm, home-from-home setting.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote curiosity, creativity and development.
• Support the Room Leader in maintaining high standards of Early Years care and education.
• Observe and record learning progress and communicate with parents and carers.
• Maintain accurate records and follow Kindred policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive nursery environment.
• Promote safeguarding and children’s wellbeing at all times.
