Job summary

Bright Horizons Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool is hiring a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to plan and deliver engaging activities that promote development in line with the EYFS. You will maintain a safe, welcoming environment and reflect on practice to support children’s learning journeys.

The role involves working across the nursery’s daily routines, collaborating with carers and colleagues, and upholding safeguarding standards in a busy, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development towards milestones
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and foster a lifelong love of learning
• Contribute to wellbeing and progression opportunities within the nursery team

Salary: starting from £28,073 (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool, situated in Chineham Business Park Basingstoke, accessible by car, bus and on foot.

The nursery offers free bus transport links, in and out of Chineham Park, a unique layout and breakout spaces such as curiosity experiences, wildlife and animals and large home from home rooms. Also, a focus on wellbeing which includes wellbeing cafes, learning lunches , wellbeing ambassadors and progression opportunities.

The Role
