Job summary

Bright Horizons Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a flexible Bright Flex/Bank practitioner to support EYFS delivery and day-to-day nursery operations.

You will blend agency-style flexibility with employee benefits, delivering engaging, development-focused activities and assisting with room preparation and tidying alongside the team.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny or similar roles.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
• Solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.

• Deliver and support the EYFS through engaging, educational activities.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery tasks including room tidying and preparation.

Hourly Rate: starting from £13.50 p/h (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
