Job summary

Willingcare in West Byfleet seeks a Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3 for term-time, part-time hours. You will deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, with a strong emphasis on outdoor, nature-based learning and hands-on exploration.

You will join a supportive team, build positive relationships with children and families, and observe progress to contribute to each child’s learning journey while following safeguarding and health & safety policies.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience within a nursery or early years environment.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
• Enthusiasm for outdoor, nature-based and play-led learning.
• A caring and patient approach to supporting young children.
• Confidence encouraging children's independence and curiosity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Term Time Only | Level 2 from £13.20 per hour | Level 3 from £13.50 per hour | Part Time

This welcoming nursery provides a secure, stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore both their surroundings and the natural world. Outdoor experiences form an important part of everyday learning, with opportunities for children to grow plants and vegetables, experiment with water, mud and sand, and discover the world around them through hands-on play.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for a term-time position with shorter daytime hours. You'll join a supportive early years team, helping to create meaningful learning experiences while encouraging children's confidence, curiosity and independence.
