Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is currently seeking a caring Nursery Practitioner to join a variety of Early Years settings in Swansea. You will support children through play-based learning, help with their development and wellbeing, and work closely with a supportive Early Years team.

The role covers short-term and long-term placements, with on-site hours and a full-time pattern. Salary ranges from £14.25 to £15 per hour under a PAYE arrangement, and the position is temporarily contracted.

We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner for a mixture of short-term and long-term opportunities, supporting children across the Early Years age range. The successful Nursery Practitioner will help provide engaging activities, support children's development and wellbeing, and work closely with other Early Years professionals to maintain a positive and stimulating environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A relevant Early Years or childcare qualification
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting
• An understanding of children's learning, development and wellbeing
• A caring and nurturing approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Adaptability and a positive, 'can-do' attitude
