Job summary

Grandir UK is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner for Silks Farm Day Nursery in the Huntingdon area. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Our nursery offers a supportive environment with Forest School activities, nutritious meals prepared on-site, and opportunities for career progression within a big childcare group.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
• Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children
• Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
• Prepare and support children’s activities
• In the absence of the Team/Room Leader maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment
• Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Support and mentor students and un-qualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers

Our Silks Farm Day Nursery and Preschool in the Huntingdon area offers an array of exceptional features that contribute to our high-quality childcare. Location

Set in rural Cambridgeshire, we are located between Somersham village and St Ives retail park, near Cuckoobridge Farm Shop. The nursery is easily accessible by car and offers ample parking.

What Will You Be Doing
