Job summary

Willingcare is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join a countryside setting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality Early Years learning in line with the EYFS, ensuring safeguarding and creating a nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification, prior nursery experience, strong EYFS knowledge, and a warm, enthusiastic approach to children and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting is required.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Confident in creating engaging learning experiences for children of various ages.
• Ability to recognise children’s interests and adapt activities accordingly.
• Creative approach to Early Years learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging experiences to encourage exploration and discovery.
• Support learning and development in line with the EYFS.

Up to £30,200 per year | Up to 42.5 Hours per Week

This welcoming nursery is set in a beautiful countryside location and provides an inspiring environment where children are encouraged to explore, create and follow their curiosity. Inside, age-specific rooms have been carefully arranged to support children through each stage of their Early Years journey, providing appropriate resources, activities and experiences as they grow.

The nursery is looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner who can bring energy and creativity to the team while providing the nurturing, consistent care children need to feel confident and secure.

What We're Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

• Support children's individual routines, emotional wellbeing and personal care.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistently high standards.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
