Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Experience as Nursery Practitioner is essential.
• Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and child development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Plan and deliver creative, play-based activities that encourage exploration and discovery.
• Support children's confidence, independence and personal, social and emotional development.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress, identifying their next steps.
• Create a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment where children feel valued.
• Support daily routines and the smooth running of the nursery room.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures.

What We're Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – essential


• Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner – essential


• Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development


• Confidence working independently and managing daily room routines


• Experience planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities


• A passion for child-led learning and encouraging children's independence


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
