Orwell Park School in Ipswich is seeking a Part-time Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our pre-prep team. You will deliver engaging EYFS activities, ensure children's health and safety, and support individual needs.

The role is Mondays and Wednesdays 7:50am–1:00pm for 32 weeks per year plus inset, with potential extra hours. Onsite accommodation may be available for the right candidate. Salary £13.07 per hour (£15.29 including holiday pay).

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualified Nursery/EY Practitioner required.
• Experience with EYFS framework desirable.

We are looking for a full and relevant Level 3 Qualified Nursery/ Early Years Practitioner to join our pre-prep team. You will be warm, professional and committed to delivering high-quality Early Years Provision.

As part of our team, you’ll assist in delivering engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, fostering children’s learning and development through play. You will play an active role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the children, while supporting their individual needs, including personal care and behaviour management. Paediatric first aid training is desirable.

This is a part time post working Monday and Wednesday 7.50am to 1pm for 32 weeks per year plus inset. There is a strong possibility of additional hours being available as more children attend sessions, ideally, we are seeking someone who can be flexible to accommodate these needs. The hourly rate for this role is £13.07 (£15.29 Including holiday pay).
