Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd is seeking a Level 2+/Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for the Baby Room at a beautiful family-run nursery near Cranleigh. The role focuses on caring for babies aged 6 months and up, delivering a safe, nurturing environment, and supporting early learning in a rural setting.

You will work primarily in the Baby Room, ensuring developmental progress is monitored, activities link to EYFS, and strong relationships with families are built.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Early Years qualification as a minimum.
• Level 3 qualification is strongly encouraged for application.
• Experience with babies and young children in a nursery setting.
• Good communication with parents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Support babies in daily routines and development.
• Encourage learning through play within EYFS framework.
• Monitor and record developmental progress.

The Role

Working primarily within the Baby Room, you’ll help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and flourish.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting babies and young children through their daily routines
• Encouraging learning through play and exploration
• Monitoring and recording children’s developmental progress
• Building positive relationships with parents and families
• Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and independence
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and care
• Creating engaging activities linked to the EYFS framework

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years Qualification
