Job summary

Danetree Primary School in West Ewell, Epsom requires a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our nurturing, child-centred team. You will plan and deliver engaging activities, monitor learning and work closely with parents to support every child’s development within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We offer professional development through GLF Schools, a supportive community, and opportunities to grow within a growing multi-academy trust. This permanent role starts ASAP with a 34.35-hour week.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Nursery Practitioner qualified to Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare. You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, and working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. The successful candidate must:

• Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Have a detailed knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and early childhood development
• Show enthusiasm and commitment
• Have good organisational and communication skills
• Be responsible for the planning, delivery and monitoring of learning for their key children
• Be able to create an exciting and stimulating environment that provides rich learning opportunities
• Be able to inspire and nurture every child to ensure they become confident, active learners

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary:£25,877 FTE

Pro Rata Salary: £21,241.50

Hours: 34.35 hours a week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.20am – 3.30pm and Wednesday 8.20am - 4.30pm (39 weeks incl. INSET)

Grade:Associate 3.1 Pay Scale

Contract: Permanent
