Job summary

Sally-Anna's Day Nursery in the United Kingdom is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to support early years learning. You will record children's progress, build relationships with parents and carers, and provide support to other staff while working across rooms.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification, flexibility to work between 8:00am and 6:00pm, and four days per week. The role offers on-site employment with opportunities for progression and a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexibly between 8:00am and 18:00.
• Availability for 4 days per week and across different rooms.

Responsibilities

• Keeping a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
• Building and maintaining relationships with parents and other carers to facilitate the daily
• Providing support to other nursery staff members
• Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural andmedical needs
• Advising the Nursery Manager about concerns relating to a child or parent while respecting confidentiality requirements

The staff have a crucial role in the learning of children and they draw on a range of working in partnership with the children and care strategies and knowledge of child development

Child questioning, experimenting, repeating, reflecting and responding to adults and each other. The staff realise that well planned play is a key way in which children learn with enjoyment and challenge during the foundation stage and every effort will be made by the staff at Sally-Anna's Day Nursery to ensure that your child will benefit from these experiences.
