Job summary

GSL Education Kent are seeking a qualified Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming school in Maidstone. This full-time, long-term supply role offers daily pay between £94 and £115 depending on experience, with ASAP start.

You must hold Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare, have nursery or childcare experience, and be committed to safeguarding and DBS checks. You will work with teachers to deliver engaging activities and support children's development in a caring, inclusive

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
• Experience in a nursery, early years environment, or childcare setting.
• Demonstrate passion for supporting young children's development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of age-appropriate learning and play activities.
• Provide attentive care to children throughout the school day.
• Encourage development in communication, social, emotional and physical areas.
• Support each child's learning in line with their needs and interests.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and child protection policies.
