Job summary

GSL Education Kent is seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming school in Maidstone. The role is full-time and long-term supply, requiring Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualifications and a genuine passion for supporting young children's development.

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging activities, foster communication and social skills, and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
• Experience in nursery, early years, school, or childcare setting.
• Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS checks/safety compliance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse who enjoys working with early years children and wants to play an important role in their early education and development.

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be expected to:

To be considered for this Nursery Nurse role, candidates must:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Have previous experience working within a nursery, early years, school, or childcare setting.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be patient, caring, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
• Have an Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
