Early Years Childcare Practitioner

We are looking for supportive, patient, and empathetic individuals who are passionate about caring for, shaping, and nurturing children aged 0-5 years.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring high standards of quality and provision in the day care setting.
2. Providing care, guidance, and support to children in the setting.
3. Undertaking activities with individual children or groups under the direction of staff.
4. Observing children, keeping accurate records of their development.
5. Developing positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
6. Promoting inclusion and acceptance of children with additional needs.
7. Supporting meal preparations and assisting children during meal times.
8. Providing key worker support, especially for children requiring early help support.
9. Following safeguarding procedures and reporting concerns immediately.
10. Maintaining high-quality daily records of children's activities.
11. Complying with all policies and procedures of the provision.
12. Administering first aid and recording accidents appropriately.
13. Maintaining confidentiality and attending staff meetings as required.
