TeacherActive Limited is working with an Early Years setting in Belgrave, Leicester (LE4) that is looking for a motivated and caring Nursery Practitioner to join its team. The position is full-time with shifts from 8:00am to 6:00pm and an immediate start.

You will help deliver the EYFS curriculum, create stimulating learning opportunities through play, and support children in individual and small-group activities while promoting wellbeing and safeguarding.

Formación

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification, an equivalent qualification, or at least 6 months' relevant EY experience.
• Sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum, Early Learning Goals and child development.
• Experience supporting children through play-based learning, continuous provision and small group activities.
• Confidence adapting activities to suit children's individual developmental needs and providing personal care when required.
• Positive, patient and enthusiastic approach with the ability to build relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing; driving would be beneficial but not essential.

Nursery Practitioner

Location: Belgrave, Leicester, LE4

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £14.25 - £16.50 per hour

TeacherActive is working with an Early Years setting in Belgrave, Leicester (LE4) that is looking for a motivated and caring Nursery Practitioner to join its team. The setting offers an opportunity to support children's early development through engaging activities, positive interactions and a play-based approach that encourages curiosity, independence and confidence.

This full-time Nursery Practitioner position involves working varied shifts, which may start at 8:00am or finish as late as 6:00pm, depending on the nursery rota. You will help deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, create stimulating learning opportunities through continuous provision and support children through individual and small group activities. You will also encourage progress towards the Early Learning Goals, assist with personal care and daily routines, and help ensure every child feels safe, included and supported throughout the day.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification, an equivalent qualification, or a minimum of 6 months' relevant experience working within an Early Years setting
• A sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum, Early Learning Goals and child development
• Experience supporting children through play-based learning, continuous provision and small group activities
• Confidence adapting activities to suit children's individual developmental needs and providing personal care when required
• A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing. Being able to drive would be beneficial but is not essential
