Job summary

Zero2Five is recruiting for a high-quality private EYFS nursery near Queen’s Park, London. The Nursery Nurse will care for children aged 1-4 in a warm, home-from-home environment and support learning, development and wellbeing.

You will work in a private setting open 50 weeks a year, with a focus on high-quality care, safeguarding and positive interactions. Competitive salary negotiable based on experience and collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare/EY qualification is essential.
• Experience as Nursery Practitioner in early years.
• Experience with 0-5 and one-to-one/small-group work.
• Understanding of child development and behaviour.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
• Genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow.
• Positive, reliable and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical, emotional, social and intellectual care.
• Support children’s learning, development, play and exploration.
• Plan and follow the daily routine within the base room.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

What we’re looking for

• Relevant Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner.
• Experience supporting children aged 0-5, including one-to-one and small-group work.
• Understanding of child development, learning and behaviour.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Experience communicating with parents and families.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent relevant experience.
• A genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow and thrive.
• A positive, reliable and collaborative approach to teamwork.
