Job summary

Supply Desk are seeking Teaching Assistants and Nursery Nurses for a Nursery in Gosport/Fareham. You will provide early education to children aged 3 months to 4 years, supporting their emotional, social and cognitive growth in a nurturing environment.

Hours are 35 per week, start September 2026, with flexible, full-time roles. Competitive daily rate of £97-£115 depending on experience, and an Ofsted-rated facility focused on inclusive, engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
• Experience working in a nursery or similar early years setting.
• A genuine passion for helping children grow and thrive.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A solid understanding of safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch care and early education to children aged 3 months to 4 years.
• Support children's emotional, social, and cognitive growth in a nurturing environment.
• Build strong relationships with parents to ensure each child’s needs are met.
• Work as part of a team to create a stimulating, positive atmosphere.
• Keep accurate records to track children’s progress.
