Nursery Nurse
Our client is looking to employ a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse for their quality private day nursery near Evesham, Worcestershire. The suitable candidate must be passionate, enthusiastic, and driven to provide young children with the best early years education and care needed for their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all nursery policies and procedures are understood and implemented at all times.
- Possess good knowledge and some experience across all areas of child development.
- Understand the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Serve as a key person for children in your group, building positive relationships with children and their families, and completing child observations using the online learning journal Tapestry.
- Help provide a stimulating, engaging learning environment that reflects the diverse interests and beliefs of the children, ensuring all children are happy and enjoy their activities.
- Plan and deliver a balanced curriculum for all children, introducing new cultures to broaden their experiences.
- Promote respect for people of different races, abilities, religions, genders, and cultures, treating each child as an individual.
- Show a passion for caring and nurturing children to ensure the best childcare experience at Tweenies.
- Maintain a positive approach, setting appropriate limits and boundaries for children.
- Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to ensure high-quality childcare at all times.
- Discuss concerns about children or their parents with your Senior Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Management team.
- Seek advice and support from Senior Nursery Practitioners when needed.
Requirements
Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification, NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, CACHE Diploma in Childcare, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.
