Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager for a well-established nursery in Middlesbrough. The role oversees day-to-day operations, staff leadership, and high standards of care and education in line with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

The successful candidate will lead a team, manage occupancy and budgets, build strong relationships with families and the local community, and drive continuous improvement in a welcoming setting.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years is required; Level 5 or higher desirable.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience preparing for Ofsted inspections.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for:

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable).
• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• A passion for delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children's development.
