Banana Moon Day Nursery Royston is opening Nov 2026 and is seeking an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead our brand new setting, delivering high-quality care and education. You will implement policies, manage daily operations, recruit and onboard staff, embed the Banana Moon Curriculum, build strong relationships with families, and ensure health and safety.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ EYFS qualification as defined by the Department for Education.
• DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector.
• Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate.
• Safeguarding training and qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience.
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations.
• History of achieving a 'good' or 'outstanding' rating.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage day-to-day nursery operations, build local reputation, handle admin and staff deployment.
• Embed the Banana Moon Curriculum in daily practice.
• Lead operations and onboard new team members.
• Build strong relationships with families and maintain open communication.
• Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of staff and children.
