Job summary

Best Start Recruitment seeks a Nursery Manager for a Camden setting. The role is full-time, 8-6, overseeing a 30-place nursery with a strong focus on safeguarding and high-quality care. You will mentor staff, drive Ofsted outcomes, and share responsibility for shaping the nursery's future.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification, GCSEs in Maths and English, and a proven track record of leadership in Early Years settings.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English.
• Previous senior Early Years role experience (Nursery Manager/Deputy Manager or similar).
• Proven ability to lead teams to Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
• Strong leadership to mentor, coach and build cohesive teams.
• Deep understanding of safeguarding, EYFS framework, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.

What We’re Looking For:
