Job summary

RCM Recruitment Ltd is helping a lovely nursery seek an outstanding Nursery Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensure children's safety, and maintain a warm, stimulating environment.

You will implement daily routines, uphold safeguarding and EYFS standards, and build strong partnerships with parents while guiding a friendly team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior role within a childcare/nursery setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively and support the team.
• Capable of working on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Ensure children are safe and staff follow safeguarding procedures.
• Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and families.
• Manage day-to-day running of the nursery for safe, efficient operation.
• Implement the daily routine and maintain hygiene of all equipment.
• Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, Local Authorities and safeguarding requirements.
• Oversee KPI delivery and nursery financial/operational management.

Job description

We are looking for an outstanding Nursery Manager to join our client's team.

This will be a varied "hands on" Manager role working for a lovely settingwho are looking for a personable and passionate Manager that enjoys all area of the role and has experience as a Manager in previous settings.

The role of the Nursery Manager will include:

• Ensure that children are kept safe, and that staff understand, and when necessary, follow safeguarding procedures


• Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and other family members


• To manage and be responsible for the day to day running of the nursery to ensure a safe and efficient Day Nursery


• To implement the daily routine


• To ensure the safety and hygiene of all equipment, repairs or replacement as necessary


• To ensure that the nursery is safe, stimulating and compliant with EYFS, Ofsted, Local Authorities, relevant bodies and safeguarding requirements.


• To manage and deliver against agreed Key Performance Indicators and aspects of nursery financial and operational management

The ideal Nursery Manager will need to be/have:

• Experience of working in a senior role within a childcare/nursery setting


• Minimum NVQ level 3 in Childcare or equivalent


• To be able to communicate effectively, give support to other members of the team and to be a good team player


• To be able to work on own initiative
