  • £32,654 - 35,234 pro rata*
  • 35 hours per week over 5 days, term time plus 1 week
  • Permanent
  • Reference: 7444
  • Required from September 2025 (possibly July if available)

*Pay award pending.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and innovative Nursery Manager to establish and lead a brand-new nursery provision within our thriving primary school. If you are passionate about early childhood education and eager to shape a high-quality learning environment for children aged 3 to 4 years, we would love to hear from you!

We are thrilled to develop our early years offering with the launch of a new nursery in September-an amazing space where the Nursery Manager will play a key role in shaping its future, alongside an experienced and passionate team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

As our Nursery Manager, you will:

  • develop and shape an outstanding nursery provision aligned with our school's ethos
  • recruit, inspire, and lead a passionate nursery team
  • ensure excellence in early years' education by creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
  • oversee nursery operations and compliance to maintain high-quality standards.

You will:

  • need to have qualifications appropriate to the position - Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • bring a positive and proactive attitude to your work
  • champion our school's vision and values in everything you do
  • set high expectations for all children to reach their full potential
  • take responsibility for making the best choices for the children you work with
  • create an engaging, safe and stimulating learning environment that nurtures growth
