We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager at an impressive setting based in Congleton, Cheshire, offering a salary of £36,000 - £40,000 (starting salary £36-£38k) depending on experience.

The setting is part of a successful nursery chain, leading in the childcare industry with a reputation for supporting staff development and maintaining high standards of care for children.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing an established team of Room Leaders, Practitioners, Kitchen staff, and Apprentices
• Ensuring all children are kept safe and receive stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and development
• Ensuring compliance with legislation related to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding, and health and safety, along with company policies
• Deploying staff effectively and working closely with the Area Manager
• Understanding recruitment and selection processes
• Coordinating tasks and delegating responsibilities as necessary

Experience required:

• Deputy or manager level experience
• Level 3 qualification or higher
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements
• Experience managing budgets
• Strong understanding of EYFS and working with children and families
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge and staff supervision experience
• Experience with recruitment procedures
• Experience collaborating with parents and external agencies
• Ability to lead staff meetings and multi-agency working
• Experience managing administrative tasks
