Great Starts Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Outstanding-rated nursery in Brentwood, Essex, for a Nursery Manager to lead day-to-day operations and ensure high standards of care and education.

The role emphasises safeguarding, EYFS compliance, and staff development, with 40 hours per week across five days. A strong leadership background and passion for exceptional childcare are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Previous Nursery Manager experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
• Experience working towards occupancy and quality targets
• Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated childcare team
• Maintaining compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Holiday: 24 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

Are you an experienced Early Years and Nursery Manager/Leader looking for your next challenge?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Outstanding-rated nursery in Brentwood that is passionate about providing the highest standard of childcare and early years education. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

The nursery provides care for children aged 3 months to 5 years and prides itself on creating a safe, caring, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance are consistently maintained.
