Job summary

St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust in Bodmin is seeking an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead our Early Years team and shape high‑quality education and care for our community. You will lead a fantastic staff team, work with families and stakeholders, demonstrate organised, calm leadership, and ensure inclusive practice and safeguarding throughout the nursery.

The role requires a full EYFS qualification at Level 3 or above, at least five years' experience, and a minimum Level 2 in maths or a plan

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant EYFS qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Five years of experience in an early years setting is required.
• Minimum Level 2 in maths, or plan to achieve within two years of starting.

St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust is looking to appoint an exceptional, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Nursery Manager to join our growing Early Years team within the Bodmin Hub, We are very excited to be recruiting a Nursery Manager. This is an exciting time for our Trust as we continue to develop our provision to meet the needs of our community. We are looking for someone who

• Loves coming into nursery each day to spend time with our little ones and lead a fantastic staff team
• Leads by example and is willing to get their hands dirty…our children love to play and be creative and we expect you to join in! No job is too big or too small!
• Is organised, professional, remains calm and has clarity of thought
• Will shape the business for the future whilst not compromising on quality of education and care
• Will work with all stakeholders, investing time getting to know our children, families and staff and be willing to go the extra mile for them
• Cares about details - you will have that difficult conversation with sensitivity, your email to families is free of typo's and you know whose coat is whose and are willing to spend time looking for a missing welly boot!
• Is committed to creating an inclusive society and is dedicated to ensuring all children get the support they need to thrive
• Has a warm, infectious smile that lights up their face - this smile is there to greet our children, families and fellow staff to show them how loved, special and valued they are!
  Has a full and relevant EYFS qualification at Level 3 or above, at least 5 years of experience and has a minimum Level 2 in maths or will achieve this within two years of starting in post.
