Empowering Learning is seeking Level 2/3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to work as bank staff across nurseries in Derby and surrounding areas. Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification recognised for the role.

• Understands safeguarding and child development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and confident working in different nursery settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's communication, physical, social and emotional development.
• Provide high-quality care, including mealtimes, personal care and daily routines.
• Observe children's progress and contribute to their learning journeys.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage children's independence.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming nursery environment.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to ensure excellent care.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times.

As a bank Nursery Practitioner, you will support children throughout their early years, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where they can learn, play and develop.
