Job summary

Kido International Nursery & Preschool Streatham is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to drive a caring, high-quality learning environment. You will lead daily activities, support the team, and maintain safeguarding and wellbeing across the room.

The role requires a Level 3 childcare qualification and early years management experience; sponsorship is not available. Salary £28,000 to £33,000, full-time, 40 hours per week, with excellent benefits and career progression.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 childcare qualification and have management experience in Early Years.
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (functional skills) if Level 3 was obtained after 2014.
• Sponsorship is not available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and communicate with team and parents.
• Inspire outstanding teaching and learning every day.
• Conduct performance reviews and set SMART goals.
• Work with the DSL to ensure safeguarding and welfare of children.
• Deliver an ambitious curriculum and ensure Key Person and buddy Key Person in each room.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and encourage the team to do the same.
