Job summary

Chef & Cook is seeking a reliable Nursery Chef to join a nursery catering team on a temporary basis. You will support the kitchen team with daily preparation and service of meals and snacks for approximately 50 nursery children, ensuring safety and cleanliness throughout service.

Role requires Enhanced DBS and good understanding of food hygiene and allergen awareness. Previous catering experience and reliability in a team setting are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and allergen awareness.
• Non-slip shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Support breakfast, lunch, snacks and tea service for nursery children.
• Help maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in the kitchen.
