Job summary

The Learning Experience Uk is hiring a Nursery Kitchen Assistant to support meal service and maintain high cleanliness standards in our childcare setting. You will assist the Chef, help prepare meals, and ensure rooms receive hot, safe meals for infants to preschoolers.

We value detail, good time management, clear communication with colleagues and parents, and a willingness to learn food hygiene and health & safety regulations. Previous kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations or willingness to undertake training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef during meal service and assist with food preparation.
• Wash and sanitise kitchenware and surfaces.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and nursery-compliant.
• Support safe storage of food and kitchen supplies.
